Like many SaaS (Software as a Service) businesses, we’re a small company with big goals to help other small companies to gain more business in a way that is free to try and then low cost, without any commitment longer than a month ahead.
We are a cog in a much bigger marketing machine that all works together to help companies get more sales from website visitors.
Our small cog identifies home addresses and company names of website visitors.
Other providers cogs focus on complementary areas such as:
- Organic online visibility – being visible in search engines and AI engines.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) – an ongoing refinement of elements within the website, so that more people make contact.
- Social media – being visible wherever people could discover you.
- Paid advertising – the many options such as Google Ads, social media advertising and more.
- Offline media that drives visitors to websites (e.g. brochures and adverts in printed publications).
All of the above are cogs within the marketing mix that gets results when working with strong providers of those services that relate to websites.
Our own small cog only gives you the home addresses or company names of website visitors, but it’s a valuable cog because its very low cost is easily covered when you utilise the information provided … and that utilisation of data can help fund other cogs within your marketing mix.
Here’s an example:
- From your free trial you identify visitors to your website and you reach out to some of them.
- That leads to new business from people who you wouldn’t otherwise have known had been to your website. You choose to carry on, knowing that you are able to pay a small fee month-to-month.
- That new business brings in more revenue for you and gives you the choice to allocate some of that revenue towards other marketing cogs that require more cost investment (e.g. CRO, SEO, paid advertising).
- That increase in visibility and website strength enables you to gain more sales from your website.
Much of the website marketing mix has higher costs because of the nature of those services.
Our small cog is designed to be low cost but fast impact (when the customer utilises the identifiable website visitor information in the right way), but it’s not an everything solution.
It is, as we say it – a small cog that facilitates the revenues to focus on the other cogs that will ultimately get you further results from your website visitors and marketing.
